This
first map is a section of the Free State, with Ladybrand situated in the bottom
right-hand corner. For our overseas travelers: Bloemfontein is the Capital City of the Free State, and in the center if you look at a map of South Africa. Bloemfontein is 135km from Ladybrand. Maseru is the capital of Lesotho, is only 12km from Ladybrand. Lesotho is known as the Mountain Kingdom, and snow as visible on these mountain tops from My Housy B+B. The next map shows the routes into Ladybrand Town. The red indicates the route in from Clocolan. Normally this will be the route to follow if you come from Johannesburg. The blue road shows you the town entrance from Bloemfontein, or Maseru, or Aliwal North.
